Curley Direct Mail is your complete design, print, mail firm and much more. Starting from just a few basic questions, we will design the layout for the piece of your choosing. Whether it is a complete postcard design, a booklet, envelope or simply a logo re-design, we will work with you every step of the way. Once your design is complete, your piece will be printed on one of our digital presses in-house. Next, your piece gets addressed, coded, sorted and then it is brought to the Post Office.

Size and Paper Choice
There are many sizes that we are able to print on various types of paper stock's.  Contact us for our extensive listing of sizes and paper.

Color
Make your piece stand out with color! Curley's presses use CMYK primarily, but upon special request we can utilize PMS colors.  The following will help you in differentiating the different descriptions of color's:

• Black and White – Best for letters only as it is not eye-catching on postcards
• 4/0 – Multi-colored on the front with nothing on the back (posters, flyers, etc)
• 4/1 – Multi-colored on the front with black on the address side
• 4/4 – Multi-colored on both front and back
• PMS Colors - All can be ordered

 

The Mail Process

1. Data Processing
   Our skilled data experts clean your list, perform a CASS certification, run your database through National Change of Address (NCOA), and presort your list to achieve the lowest postal rate.
2. Ink Jet Addresses
   Labels are a thing of the past!  Curley prints your client's address directly onto the piece with the barcode and endorsement line.
3. Sort for the Post Office
   In order to save you up to $0.18 per mail piece, we do all of the work for the Post Office.
4. Mail
   We bring your presorted mail to the Post Office and get it into the mail stream for you.

We would like to aid and encourage you in your efforts in becoming environmentally friendly. By making some small changes, your business will positively impact the environment and show your customers a commitment to improving the world they live in.

Here are some suggestions and ways we can help you in your endeavor:

• Request that we print your piece using one of these ecological options:
  • Virgin Paper is produced from the tree parts (chips, sawdust, etc) that were leftover from trees used to produce other paper.
  • Recycled Paper is made from used paper pulp.
  • Post-Consumer Paper comes from town recycling programs where consumers (like you) chose to recycle instead of sending their paper to a landfill.
  • Chlorine Free (Option of: Totally Chlorine Free, Processed Chlorine Free or Elemental Chlorine Free) is produced without the harsh chemical chlorine.
• Decrease the weight/thickness of the paper that is being used for your mailing
• Print letters on both sides of the paper (duplex) instead using double the amount of sheets necessary
• Send one mailing per household (we can do this for you!) to eliminate multiple pieces coming in to the same home
• Keep lists updated and clean (we can do this too!) to reduce waste and returned mail
• Send large packets of documents on CD’s with one letter of explanation to reduce paper usage
