Fall is right around the corner...are you prepared?

It’s hard to believe, but before we know it, the summer season will be over. Fall is rapidly approaching and it’s time to start thinking about fall mailings including appeals and postcards. New product lineup for the fall? Let customer’s know with an oversized postcard. Need to raise money for your non-profit? Be sure to get the appeal out prior to the holiday season where many organizations ask for money all at the same time.

The offer is equally as important because it is what gives your potential customer the reason to decide whether or not to visit your business.
If your organization is sending out an appeal to raise money, incorporate a letter explaining the cause and a simple return card with an envelope. The more information that is pre-populated for them, the better, because people don’t want to spend a lot of time filling out forms. Additionally, if you do not already have the capability to accept credit cards, you may want to consider doing so. By allowing people to go online and donate, you increase the chance of not only receiving the donation, but also getting a higher amount.
