Cut mail costs, not response

1. Put together a sample package weeks before you're ready to mail and have it weighed electronically. I've often witnessed clients having to pay extra for just a fraction of extra weight caused by adding a business card or switching paper used in the printing process. If it's apparent you're are on the borderline of a rate break, your mail piece can often be redesigned to save you money without sacrificing response rates.

2. Check the back of any of your printed pieces. Are you using them effectively? A dramatic reduction in weight (and thus cost) can sometimes occur by using paper that's already in your mailer vs. adding another additional piece.

3. Try to time your mailer to take advantage of presorted third class delivery. If you watch your deadlines third class is one of the most effective ways to lower mailing costs. Ask us what's involved and how the timing schedules work to take advantage of this big money saver!

4. Try to use machinery vs. hand labor. As any employer knows, labor is the biggest cost of doing business. At Curley Direct Mail, we have invested in the latest high speed machinery. Machinery designed to minimize human contact and thus save you big $$$. By designing your mail piece so human contact is minimized real savings can be archived.
